Independent physician bills

The physicians who provide care within our hospitals might not participate in the same insurance plans as the hospitals. You should check with the physician who is arranging your health care services to see which insurance plans the physician participates in. You should also know that these health care professional(s)’ costs are not included in the facility’s charges. They will bill separately.

In-network vs. out-of-network

CarePoint Health does not participate on an in-network basis with all insurance plans. Receiving care from an out-of-network facility or provider could increase your out of pocket costs. To verify your cost for out-of-network services, please contact your insurance company.
