The CarePoint Health Research Institute is a vibrant, full- service clinical research organization comprised of three research centers, each of which is located at our three partner hospitals: Bayonne Medical Center, Christ Hospital and Hoboken University Medical Center. Our organization is dedicated to conducting all types of clinical research on new medications, devices, diagnostic modalities and treatment protocols. Because of our size and scope, we can offer sponsoring agencies high-quality data and accruals more expeditiously and efficiently than other academic clinical research centers.
We provide a single point of contact for budgets, contracts, regulatory and patient recruitment matters. Our organization ensures efficiency with each study through the centralized processing of all aspects of clinical trials, including identifying diligent, well-trained investigators, planning protocol strategies, preparing and submitting regulatory documents, obtaining IRB approval, recruiting, enrolling, and retaining study subjects.
In each of our research centers, we maintain a database of active and potential investigators so that we can match sponsoring agencies’ needs with appropriate physicians, utilizing a swift investigator selection and training process. Additionally, by combining all three hospitals and our private physicians’ practices, we have a large electronic patient database from which we can enroll an adequate number of study subjects to meet sponsors’ needs. We accomplish sponsor enrollment goals by leveraging our own database searches and mounting local and central advertisement campaigns.
