FAITH Services: Comprehensive, Quality HIV/AIDS Care
Through our FAITH Services program, CarePoint Health is committed to delivering comprehensive, quality care to HIV positive patients. We provide care in a manner that ensures understanding, respect, dignity, and compassion. Clients receive care and referrals for programs that include medical intervention, medication management, individual and group counseling, as well as other social services.
FAITH Services is funded through The Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) Act, the United States’ largest federally funded program for people living with HIV/AIDS. The Ryan White CARE Act funds programs to improve availability of care for low-income, uninsured, and under-insured victims of AIDS and their families.
Through FAITH Services, CarePoint Health offers primary medical care and medical case management programs to people infected and affected by HIV. The program serves more than 1,000 people a year. Free and confidential HIV testing (rapid test-results in 20 minutes) is available Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:30 pm.
CarePoint Health provides HIV testing and counseling, comprehensive primary HIV care, and treatment for Hepatitis C co-infection. Bilingual medical and social services are provided by a knowledgeable staff, who are members of our community. In addition to specialized HIV/AIDS medical treatment, we offer a wide-array of comprehensive social support services and case management.
We provide financial support to assist patients with little or no insurance, and referrals to housing and transportation services. All of our services are completely confidential.
